When we first met, Jose offered to make Macaela a mix tape. We traded CDs on our first date, and this happy exchange set the tone for everything that came after.

So to keep this rhythm flowing, we made a Matrimony MasterMix to share with the many witnesses to our wedding. Below is the albums track listing (and justifications for subjecting you to such bombastic noise awesome music).

- When Mac started off her first-date-mix with this song, Jose was impressed that it was a solidly written hard rock song from a band he never heard of before. Mac is just still sad Acroma broke up after only one album. Thankfully, that break-up mojo didn't rub off on us.

-We <3 Squarepusher. Also - this is now our traditional holiday decorating song. We are not quite sure how that happened.

Hey Sexy Lady [Skrillex Remix] - iSquare

- First Skrillex song that Mac fell head over heels in love with. Also, Jose thinks the person who he is head over heels in love with is a sexy lady indeed.

- Mac is the one that listens to folk music, but it was actually Jose that introduced her to Mumford & Sons when they first started dating. Jose, in turn, was introduced to this album by his bandmate Catherine. We are grateful for this and for every instance where loved ones have shared with us new music that touches our hearts.

-Jose is a life-long rock and metal aficionado, but before meeting him Mac wouldn't have known the difference between Metallica and Meshugga. Times have changed, and this is one of the many harder songs that we both enjoy.

First Train Home - Imogen Heap

- Jose thinks of Macaela whenever, wherever he hears this song. Which is appropriate, because it is the song she plays when on the train home to him after a long time (or a few days... or a few hours) away.

Airline Pilot - Opie & Anthony

-Jose likes to listen to talk radio. Macaela likes to listen to aviation radio. This is somewhere in between.
